Nintendo Wii Sniper Rifle

Nintendo Wii Sniper Rifle
muzzle loader question?

after reading about how during the civil war the confederates had snipers capable of shooting people at 800 yards, so i was wondering what is the maximum range that a black powder muzzleloader(not that smokeless powder one made by savage) with a practical bore size(no cannons or mortars) and able to be carried around can fire a bullet and hit with over 1000 ft/lbs, what about 600 ft/lbs

btw here is a link to the rifle that they used:

the whitworth was like no other muzzle loading rifle ever made. the barrel wasn't rifled, it was essentially a hexagonal shaped pipe with a one turn in 20 inch twist to stabilize the long 500 grain hexagonal shaped bullet.
since the bullet was 3 times as long as it was wide it had a pretty good ballistic coefficient & kept its energy farther down range than conventional short round bullets.
in period military tests it would hold a 8 inch or less group & 500 yards.

the whitworth bullet also still had 1000+ foot pounds of energy @200 yards.
this link has some muzzle loader energy statistics. scroll down to the whitworth. it still looks pretty good even with the cobbled up modern bullet they used in the test.

the results would no doubt have been better with the original hard alloy hexagonal whitworth bullet.
