Question about PlayStation 1 Memory Cards/Games on SLIM PS2?
I've heard you can play PlayStation 1 games on the PlayStation 2, but I've heard PS1 memory cards won't work on the SLIM PS2.
This may seem like a silly rumor and I'm not sure whether or not it's true, but it's important because I just bought a PS1 game from my friend.
Also, I'm not sure where to buy an official PS1 memory card from Sony that works. Amazon has PS1 memory cards, but most of them are broken. Ebay has some that won't work on the new PS2.

that is a complete lie. I have an official Sony brand PS1 memory card, PS1 games, and a slim PS2 and everything works just like it's supposed to.
and how can Amazon sell broken memory cards? they and eBay are pretty much your only choices.
and GameStop does NOT carry PS1 items anymore and hasn't in a long time.
