First, you need to unplug the Xbox power cord and the audio and video cables. Then you need to hold the USB ports with one hand, and squeeze the top and bottom on the faceplate with the other hand. Then you have to take off the faceplate.

 

Next, you need to bend the gray ventilation shield with your hand. When you see the inside, you need to poke the stick trough the white holes. When you have done this, release the tabs and press the button on the face of the console. After that, you could lose the gray plastic inside as what the previous steps tell you.

 

When you have done first and second steps, you need to turn the Xbox upside down and screw all the clips off. Then, you have to lift the top of the bottoms shelf, take off 14 silver and 8 black screws. And turn the consol right side up and lift the outer shell in order to reveal the inside.

 

Then, you need to heat up the soldering iron, place the GPU on the motherboard and then apply the solder to the chip. And when you finish, cool the solder. Then you have to inspect the CPU chip. When you find the errant solder, take it off and replace it.
