It is a system that you can buy called "DVD Anywhere is a wireless video transmitter. Basically you hook the transmitter to the Xbox and the receiver to your TV. Then such as getting out of your Xbox upstairs wirelessly to your TV down. The total system cost is about $ 70. Technically, if you have a player Blue-Ray is supposed to play video, you should be able to use it. Without knowing what type it is, you should look in the manual of the formats that will play. My guess would, because it is a Blue-Ray player, MKV files (HD Movie Format) The only other cheaper way to do this would be copied to your computer and use recording software to turn it into a DVD then play it on BlueRay player to be compatible with the DVD's. It is basically free, but is a huge inconvenience to have to burn a DVD every time you see things. Also for future reference, VLC player is not as good as the GOM Player (Which is what I use exclusively on my Windows PC base). I only use VLC on Linux, and just because there GOM Player for Linux. But it is cleaner, has more features, and looks nicer, and has incorporated in many codecs and plays almost all file formats with ease.
