How can I connect my Xbox 360 to wi-fi?

Pretty basic question, but I dont want to spend 100$ for the Microsoft one, plus i dont have a laptop, nor do i feel like hardwiring my house. Can I use like a USB Wifi adaptor? Thanks.

you have to have to have at&t wirless first and the XBOX 360 wireless adapter! you can NOT use a normal one!
then you go to connect to xboxlive
then you go to the wireless option
then click "view networks in range" or somethimng like that.
then chose your network
(if it requires a password it would be located side of your wireless at&t box or its on the bootom
