Xbox 360 and support center for media?

Every time I try to connect the media center on my 360, I get the black screen that has MediaCenter logo, and below that says "Contact ..." . Also when I go to "system" in the console and go to the "Test Media Connection ", part of the team not selected. I turned off my firewall and had Windows Media Player 11. What do I do?
