What is the fastest router I can buy the game online with Xbox and PS3?

I bought a Linksys WRT610N router but it was buggy and fell frequently. I was looking at the router D-Link Xtreme to play but want to see more brands. Also If I buy a point and access bridge to connect my system would be more beneficial? Do I need a wireless router at all then?

Buy belkin54g is one of the cheapest and da good connection as well.
